Tile backer boards are 1200mm x 600mm and are supplied in both 6mm and 10mm

Each board will cover an area of 0.72m2 and we suggest that 10% is allowed over and above the amount required as it is better to have too much rather than too little! The chart opposite will help you determine how many boards you require.

This type of tile backer board is Not to be used with underwood heating but is ideal for all undertile underfloor heating systems

For example, if you need to insulate an area of 9m2.
9 / 0.72 = 12.5 boards but we would recommend 14 boards to allow for cutting

XPS Premium boards are 1200mm x 600mm and are supplied in both 6mm and 10mm. These are a budget option when installing beneath undertile kits.

Each board covers an area of 0.72m2 and we recommend that 10% is allowed over and above the amount required as it is better to have too much rather than too little! The chart opposite will help you determine how many boards you require.

XPS Premium boards are suitable for use with underwood and undertile heating.
